Year 1 News Reports
In English, Year 1 pupils have been focussing on newspaper report writing and learning about the format, style of writing and the features of a news article.
Using their topic of Florence Nightingale, the pupils worked hard to write their own report including headlines, past tense, a quote from an eyewitness and lots of interesting detail.
Pupils wrote in columns and used the computers to type headlines changing the font and size. We think they all did a great job.
