The Ryleys School does not participate in the Government's Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) scheme. The Ryleys School does however participate with both the government's Tax-Free Childcare scheme and Childcare Voucher scheme. The Tax-Free Childcare scheme gives eligible families an extra 20% towards childcare costs. In total this scheme can be used to pay for childcare of up to £10,000 per child each year. Childcare Vouchers are accepted for payment of fees up to the term of the child’s fifth birthday. Vouchers may also be used to pay for lunches, clubs, trips and afterschool care. This government scheme was closed to new applicants in 2018. Full details of each of these government schemes can be found on gov.uk.
Terms and Conditions
On acceptance of a definite place at the school, a deposit of £500 is required. This surety will not be returned if the pupil does not start at The Ryleys for any reason, but will be refunded upon leaving at the end of Year 6, after the deduction of the final term's 'extras'.
Fees are due in full by the first day of term unless a direct debit mandate is in place. In this instance fees may be paid over ten or twelve instalments across the year. Otherwise a termly bank transfer can be arranged.
The school operates a discount of 2.5% for fees paid in advance for the academic year.
Overdue accounts will be subject to a 5% interest charge.
A full term's notice, in writing, to the Head must be given. A term's fees will become payable in lieu of correct notice for the early removal of a pupil. Such notice is not valid unless acknowledged.
The governors reserve the right to withdraw a place should fees not be settled as per the terms and conditions.
