Stick Man
This week in Nursery the children have reading the stick man story book by Julia Donaldson. This is a firm favourite with the Nursery children all year round but even more so as we approach the Christmas holidays.
Each child has thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story throughout the week, both during group time sessions and one to one with a teacher. They are beginning to use their language to join in with familiar words and repeated lines and are showing good awareness of the story line and characters.
We have had lots of exciting stick man themed activities too, including making our own snow, just like the snow we all had in their gardens this weekend, just not quite as cold!!
