Pool Cover
We are so grateful for our tremendous outdoor pool and at this time of year it comes into its own.
There really is something so magical about swimming outdoors. That said, it is no secret that we would like to further improve this area of our school to extend the swimming opportunities.
Due to our incredibly supportive school families and creative and dedicated Social Committee, we have raised enough money to make some significant improvements to our pool side this month - Thank you!
A thermal pool cover has been installed. This not only keeps our pool temperature toasty warm all year round, but also helps keep the water clean and significantly reduces energy waste and our resultant energy bills.
Also, some poolside gazebos are being installed this week which enable the children to shelter if the air temperature is a little cooler than we would ideally want.
We look forward to our swimming galas later this term and seeing our pupils swimming skills grow over the coming months.
