Nutrition
Thank you to our caterers Holroyd Howe, who led a session with our pupils this week about the importance of a balanced diet.
The children learnt about the nutrition in each food group and discussed ways to reduce what your body doesn't need such as sugar and caffeine. Using a giant floor mat, the pupils built a balanced meal and then put their lesson into practice at lunchtime where they tried a selection of protein rich humus and vegetable crudités.
