National Writing Day Reception Assembly
Well done to our Reception Year who delivered a brilliant assembly this week inspired by National Writing Day. The pupils confidently explained what they have learnt about writing skills including the importance of capital letters, spaces and full stops. They also sang fun songs about rhyming words and onomatopoeia. WOW!
Concluding the celebrations, the class presented a heartfelt video in which pupils gave handwritten postcards of thanks to various family members and people in the local community. Well done, Reception class!
