Inspiring Young Minds at Withington Girls School
Year 5 enjoyed an exciting science workshop at WGS on Thursday afternoon.
As part of the Inspiring Young Minds programme, the children were fortunate to use the senior school science laboratory and have a workshop led by their Head of Science.
Firstly, the pupils were tutored through a range of experiments which they carried out themselves and then watched a spectacular 'Flash Bang!' presentation courtesy of the chemistry sixth form students. The session was extremely informative and the Withington staff were very impressed with both the conduct of our pupils and their excellent scientific knowledge.
