Hands Up Who Wants To Help Our Planet?
Holroyd Howe Sustainability Coordinator, Tom Cox came to school this week talked to all of the children about the way we should reduce our waste by refusing single use items, reusing whenever possible and always recycling when we're able to.
He focused on plastic in particular, as a versatile material with many uses, with a caution on our national habit of thinking it disposable, and the polluting danger that this has on our world.
The children approached this complex and serious topic with maturity and enthusiasm participating well and making credible suggestions about how we can improve as a school.
