Gateshead Race Day
Our Year 6 kit cars travelled to the Gateshead International Athletics Track for a Greenpower Trust race this week. Our pupils had learnt from the previous experience and had much better control through the races. Team Footy Fanatics made their car out of recycled football shirts, astro turf and Subbuteo men.
Team Oceanic Racing made an eco conscious ocean themed car having done a litter pick and attached some of the litter to the car. We were delighted to be awarded the ‘Best Presented Team’ award!
Thank you to the incredible family support cheering from the stand. It definitely helped the cars go faster. Well done, everyone, and huge thanks to Mr Tadman and Mr Anthony for arranging everything.
