From The Head - Friday 5th January 2024
It's been good to kick start the new year in school and see all the children and staff happily settling back into our daily routine and catching up with friends. I think it is always a bit of a shock to the system for everyone after the daze of the Christmas break when one day blurs into another!
While January isn't always the cheeriest of months on the weather front, it is a month of new possibilities and positivity when we all look ahead and make our grand plans, some of which we will see through to completion while others fall miserably to the wayside after a couple of days! Ultimately, we can largely dictate how well we succeed as we should be the driver of our own life, not a passenger.
Whatever our plans or resolutions may be, a fresh start is always welcome and it is exciting to have new projects underway. In school, we have lots of new ideas and initiatives planned for the coming months to share with you and plenty of wonderful events to enjoy.
Enjoy your weekend.

"We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day."
