From The Head - Friday 9th May 2025
The Alderley Edge Festival has been taking place all this week which has meant an especially busy time for pupils, teachers and parents who have been attending the various music and drama events.
It is a festival steeped in tradition and provides a fantastic platform for young performers
to demonstrate their array of talents and build their confidence.
We are absolutely thrilled to share that it has been a phenomenal week of results and suc-
cess for the school with being awarded first place for both our Chamber Choir and Junior Choir, as well as first place for our percussion group, plus several successes in the individual performances.
This is a terrific achievement for all involved and we are incredibly proud of the children, who not only performed amazingly, but also presented themselves beautifully in public.
Thank you to everyone who has made this possible - it takes time, dedication and endurance to succeed in these competitions and it has certainly all been worthwhile.
Good luck to everyone who will still be competing this weekend.
