Ancient Egypt Day
Year 4 had a fully immersive day on Wednesday as they took part in a day in the life as an Ancient Egyptian.
Children participated in activities throughout the day as they learnt about what happens following the death of a mighty Pharaoh, including tomb building, the mummification process, burial cere- monies and, finally, the crowning of the new Pharaoh.
The children also did some maths the Egyptian way, learnt how to measure in cubits and also en- joyed an Egyptian board game which explained the Egyptian artefacts and way of life.
